Meet our staff ...

Sylvia (aka Gina) brings to our office over twenty-seven years in the dental profession. She handles your appointments, assists with your insurance questions, and helps make your dental care convenient and affordable. Sylvia is a San Rafael local, graduating from San Rafael High School a few years behind Dr. Collins. During her time off, Sylvia enjoys gardening, reading, needlework, knitting, and bocce ball.

Olga received her assisting certification from the College of Marin, and passed her RDA boards to become a licensed dental assistant. Along with assisting Dr. Collins chairside in the operatory, Olga keeps the clinical arena running smoothly.  She immigrated to the United States from the Ukraine in 2003, and now makes her home in San Rafael, along with her husband and daughter. Besides spending time with her family, Olga enjoys hiking, camping, and discovering the United States. While living in the Ukraine, she worked for a travel agency and had the opportunity to tour seven European countries. She became a US citizen in 2009.

Wende has a passion for dentistry! Being in the field for over 19 years she has held many positions, from dental assistant to office manager, and now as a dental hygienist. Wende's passion for oral health care has led her beyond local borders, as she volunteers to treat patients in different countries to help those less fortunate with cleaning and caring for their teeth. Wende's number one priority is assisting in educating patients on how to achieve and maintain optimal oral health. By one-on-one interaction she feels this can be obtained. When not helping patients' maintain their dental health, she enjoys spending time with her husband and his children, traveling, hiking and all water sports.

Theresa has been working in the dental field for over 11 years. She earned her Dental Hygiene degree at UCSF School of Dentistry. Theresa's expertise is in motivating, educating, and treating each person's individual needs. She prides herself on helping to take the fear out of dentistry. On a personal note, Theresa has three grown children, a granddaughter and enjoys traveling and cycling.
